Indiana University Auditorium
IU Auditorium has served as a university and community gathering place, hosting a diverse array of world-class artists, entertainers, musicians and lecturers in our 3,200-seat theatre. The Auditorium has been host for the last 60 years to the world’s top performers, from the Martha Graham Dance Company and Les Miserables to Bob Dylan and Kristin Chenoweth.
My Role
As the Marketing/Media Relations & Social Media Specialist, I acted as the personal liaison for performers, show representatives, and outside media surrounding performances, in addition to creating dynamic promotional materials such as murals, pop-up marketing events, and social media takeovers.
East Bridge Murals
The East Bridge is a highly populated area on campus where we 'graffiti' some experiential marketing out in the world. I have been painting the bridge since I started at IU Auditorium.
Social Media Takeovers
I have connected members of tours to our media and often have social media takeovers to give audience members a backstage view at the performance. Some of my favorites from this year were Jisel Soleil Ayon (Jenna - Waitress), Ryan Klaus (Reed 2 - Anastasia), and Kaitlyn Davis (Ensemble - Beautiful - The Carole King Musical)
